"Zimbabwean soprano, Kim Brown, performs entirely unique classical cabaret concerts as part of prestigious cruise programmes as well as in concert halls, corporate parties and Embassy receptions. Having performed conventional recitals for many years and performed in opera galas, Kim is now working on a completely new style, bringing together her interest in classical, folk and and challenging contemporary songs with her theatricality and charismatic performance style.  She works with several fine collaborating pianists to give an entirely fresh take on familiar repertoire. Celtic folk-songs that are swathed in mist, film music with spectacular piano cadenzas and popular opera arias. The individual songs and piano pieces in each of her concerts are musically satisfying but the presentation is far from the formal classical recital room."
